Languid Lady Lepidoptera

The Languid Lady Lepidoptera

The Languid Lady   Lepidoptera  was   Indeed     in need of    a shave

Hairy Scary   Hirsute  as she was

Her    gown was inflated with    somnambulant  moths

Just   Imagine   the   pep peppery  sound

of  a mill ion     purr purr r  snor ing       moths

So what do     moths in a frock         smell like

a hint of hirsute      moth like mists    and     Stir fried  Anticipation

of   a mysterious rent    in the mother   moth   frock

in fly the moths    two by two     inner antennae linked

frilly    formative    flying

Bobby Howlers    One  and   All      and      Tall   for None

The Click clock moths were almost to blame for the tick tock tickle

of fur laden wings

the fascination of antennae as a device to tickle so beloved of

dear   Rudolf II      Holy Roman Emperor   Moth Fancier

Editors Note :

bob howler moth is a slang Brummie word for big hairy moths

Probably The Privet moth   England’s  largest  resident        moth

There is no evidence in any historical archive that Rudolf II
was interested in the ancient art of tickling

The Figure Flinger

T   h e        F ig’ure        F l i n g e r

                             a  F i g u r e   F l i n g er

You  m a y well  fin d   o u t

what inside out   is   actually  like

I used to be the right way around     until

I  met   the   Shaman   Sisters  all feathered  and   frothy  and

Van Dyke   dikkity   doodaH    DoOdaH    brown

with twitchy Bird  Beaked   Hands   a clickity  clacking

a bit   like   a    crustacean   crab  pie  in   limbo

I even   knew    my  left    from   your right

in   those   days

The Figure Flinger

  always    remember
the right eye should never see what the left eye has seen

and b a c k   t o   f r o nt  is  not   the   new   upside   down

F l i n g s  i n   f a r   f l u n g    places   are  not

Atol Protected

S h i f t y   S h a p e   S h i f t e r s

Shaman   Namen   what does it matter as long as he loves his mother

I   refuse to  mention   the   b’b’  Bovine  Head

let’s  just   say

I  know   why   the  right horn got broke

One Sister has a Bovine Head

So   why   does   the Bovine   Sister   have   a special place  in her tummy  where her sister sits   and   knits

K Nit   knit  knitting
with Purl wise  fingers
Some   Say  She  knits   her  own   shadow

Knit One     P u r l   O n e      Cast   Off   a  lot

The Knitter of Shadows

Have you   ever   sMelt a    F igure      Flinger

Some smell all feathery ancient and moth eaten
like old dust smells nicer than new

Bovine and Aniline    Aromatic and Free

Skeletons and bird beaks smell like

old ladies  face fill  powder     with the perfume removed

Big Birds Feet    just smell

and as for  dangling  limbs and medals

you have to    make up your own mind    on that

The Tree as a Young man

Editors Note :    Any   references   to reality

 are   strictly    accidental

S w a n S i s t e r s

Swan      S wan   and   Swan      3   Sis  ters

    Cygnus Sisters    one and all

I’ve always     felt in awe   of those big white birds

that only         a few people  are allowed to    eat

graceful as a swan       in        seasoning

Swan Song    Sing  a  Song      a    sixpence

and confused         by   Phrases    like               geese are swans

geese are    N O T    swans

S w ans     i s   S  w  a n s

Swan Sisters
A S  a   c hild  I was  told swans   can break your arm

so  Those white slings kids wore  with  a broken  arm

Were  they   a   white  wing  about  to  sprout

the Swan

the    constellation Cygnus

The idiom       B Y THE sEA

“up  the Swannee”  or       "down the swan"

Freuds’ flirty Fenestration Frock

Brooder of   Beasts  in   the   Nursery  Of   Nonsense

It    was   over  a  while   ago   now   when   I   first   saw  her   likeness

to   be   honest   it  was  more  of   a   glance  than  the  full Fred  Astaire

But   a   Glance  has  a   Glint   and   is   almost  a   Peep

hush   hinting   far  more than  a  gap  or  a  Gawp  can   do

The Incubator

so   when   did  Freuds’  flirty  Fenestration  Frock     Turn  into

the   Hatch  hatch  hatchery   of  free  Spirit  Jars

Everyone   knows   It  was  Tantamount  the 23rd   of   course

Freuds' Flirty Fenestration Frock

I notice  the  Countenance   of   a  little girl  complete   with Enigma

She   held  a leash  most   fine   and    Lepidopteran

All  of   a Whirrr   and   Myopic  on the move

Much   to   my   delight  I recognised the flutter and tink Tinkle

of  Count   Muldivos’  Clockwork  Moths   vanishing  up  her   sleeve

The Leash made of Moths

So   this   was   the   work   of   the Cunning  old Count

His   Automata  the Envy  and   Relish of most   of  Old  Europe

Best   not  to   mention   what   hides   behind   beady  eyed Masks

and   Modesty   Panels  Alive  alive  O

Egg Albumum Fact or Diction

Egg   Albumum      Fact   or   Diction ?

You   always   know   when   you   hear   a rat

a     tat  tat     at   the   door

It’s one      of those moments    isn't it ?

Are    you pleased     or

are    you     disturbed ?

Well    in this    case

    I  was     Over The Moon

In    waddled   Egg     Albumum

The   Walking   not quite    talking

Al bum      Ph oto   graphica

I   just   had  to   take   a   snap

of   this   momentous   event

and   here   it   is   for  your

delectation   and   delight

Egg Albumum

She

 didn’t    b    utter   a word

not   a   one   nor   a   2two

I began to understand

what   I had taken   for a quirky grin

was in fact     an   upside   down

Cape   of   Good Hope   triangular   stamp

not   a   mouth   at   all

more   like   my   lips   are   sealed

with   an   interesting   stamp   taboo

Suffice   it  to   say   in   a   postage   stamp   way

I  wasn’t   in   the   least   bit    perturbed

I   spun       Egg   Albumum    around

and  noticed    a zip    most fine

yes   a      zip   zip pity   zip

running    almost all    the way

up or down    her     back

much    to my delight    the zip was made

of    interlocking    ants   yes

ants alive alive   o  all   holding hands

Fun   with   Formica   or     what

For   those   of   us  interested   in   the

anatomy   of   the   zip

yes   yes     there was a zipper   handle

a    fine  Black     Scorpion

with      a smile      in   her   tail

as   they  say  in   the   zip   trade

with   some   trepidation

and   with   a clatter   of   a carapace   or

two

I   undid   the   zip

imagine    the   sound

of  a  fencing match    with   ants legs

and   a     scorpions      smile

for bile   and        health und   safety

 reasons

I   am    not     allowed

to show   you   a   photograph

Enough   of   this   zip   for   now

What   spilled out   of old   Egg Albumum

tummy   tum   tum

Twelve      ancient      Sun   Drawings

All   Curled   paper   brittle

Crackling     with    the  dust   of   ancient   Light

prints    per   say

some     say    replications of reality

we   say   simulacrums  of    Netheregion     Nonsense

Indeed   some   of   the   said    Images

were made centuries      before

the    advent  colander   of    photo graphy

How    could    this    be    possible   ?

Quite   simply

Anything   is   possible   with   a   smattering

of  tooth  paste ,    a   kind  tinder box

and   Precious   temerity      by   the   sea

Editors   Note   :

The   Twelve photographic   like images   found   inside

this   most   unearthly   Phot  o  Album

appear  to   substantiate   the existence   of  Count

 Muldivo’s  Travelling  Cabinet of    Curiosity

I’ m   still   stroking   my   chin   on   this   one

I  just   can’t   accept   the   existence  of  photos

several   centuries   before   the media  was  invented

OK    I   can   accept    the zip   made   from
  interlocking  ants and stuff
